Hov1 is one of Sweden’s most popular bands and in the summer of 2023 they played 27 sold-out gigs. In the unique film “HOV1 4-EVER”, the audience gets to follow the band on stage where they sing their biggest songs and meet their fans, but also take part in their personal conversations behind the scenes and when they produce music. It will be an intimate concert film where the fans can get close to their idols – while they get a strong musical experience.

The story of Vincent Lacroix, a businessman convicted of defrauding thousands of investors and embezzling over $130 million in mid-2000s Quebec, Canada. Inspector and auditor Éric Asselin is mandated to monitor the activities of the Norbourg firm. Literally fascinated by the audacity of Vincent Lacroix, the investigator leaves his post and becomes his right hand man. Norbourg then thwarts the investigations and checks by embezzling hundreds of millions of dollars. But the party can’t last forever when the company is surrounded from all sides.

Lachlan MacAldonich is a self-described “lazy Scotsman” and former guitar player for a once-popular 1990s rock band. No longer famous, he now lives a comfortably numb existence working on an organic farm outside Los Angeles. He drinks himself into a stupor every night and retires to his shabby apartment to record his podcast, recounting the tragic deaths of great musicians. After a particularly heavy night of drowning his sorrows at a local watering hole, he is arrested for driving under the influence. This snag, coupled with a long-ago conviction for a drug offense, means Lachlan faces possible deportation. His only hope of remaining stateside is proving that his absence would cause extreme hardship for a spouse or relative – forcing him to confront relationships he thought were buried forever.
